Rose is a Partner and a member of the Management Committee at Ottenheimer Baker. Rose has a practice in the areas of corporate and commercial law, energy law, commercial litigation, human rights and intellectual property law. Rose is a past recipient of the Hunt Award from the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador for achieving the highest marks in the Bar Admissions Course.
Rose’s history of corporate, academic and community involvement is considerable. She is a member of the Canadian Petroleum Law Foundation, a member of the Advisory Board of the Learning Disabilities Association of Newfoundland and Labrador, a former Director of the Heart and Stroke Foundation of Newfoundland and Labrador as well as a member of the Disciplinary Panel of the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Newfoundland and Labrador.
Rose has been a seasonal lecturer in Business Law for the Faculty of Business Administration at Memorial University of Newfoundland and Labrador. Additionally, she has presented at various seminars including the Law Society Seminars on human rights law and the Newfoundland and Labrador Employers’ Council Case Law Reviews.
