Laura is an Associate at Ottenheimer Baker with a practice that includes general litigation, criminal law, family law, wills and estates, personal injury and administrative law.
Laura graduated from Memorial University in 2005 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree (Psychology/ Law and Society) and a Certificate in Criminology. She received the award for the highest academic standing in the Law and Society Program. Laura achieved her Bachelor of Laws Degree from Dalhousie Law School in 2008.
Laura was called to the Newfoundland and Labrador Bar in 2009, earning both the Provincial Court Judges' Award and the Penney Award (Co-Recipient) for her academic performance in the Criminal Law and Family Law Exams of the Bar Admissions Course. She is a member of the Canadian Bar Association and Atlantic Provincial Trial Lawyers Association and currently sits on the Board of Directors for Shalom Incorporated.
