Dan Simmons is a Partner at Ottenheimer Baker and a graduate of Dalhousie Law School. He practices primarily in the areas of civil litigation, administrative law, employment law and general contract law. Dan has experience conducting litigation addressing construction, industrial and technical issues, has acted on many personal injury claims, primarily for claimants, and as a leading counsel in a national institutional abuse claim.
Dan sits on the Discipline Committee of the Law Society of Newfoundland and Labrador and is a past member of the Insurance Committee. He is a member of the Human Investigation Committee of Memorial University Medical School. Dan has served in various capacities on Official Board of Gower Street United Church, and is past Chairman of The Board of Governors of Coughlan College.
